Abstract
This Study examines the role of the family environment in shaping a child’s personality and supporting healthy psychological, social, and moral development. It highlights the family as a primary institution of socialization and explores its influence on the child’s behavior, emotional stability, values, and interpersonal relationships. The study discusses the foundations and mechanisms of family upbringing, different parenting patterns, and the significance of understanding childhood needs and developmental characteristics. It also emphasizes the importance of providing a supportive, balanced, and stimulating family environment that meets children’s material and emotional needs. The article argues that effective family interaction and appropriate educational practices contribute significantly to the development of a well-adjusted and socially competent personality.
