Abstract
This article aims to examine the scientific and intellectual efforts of Suleiman Pasha Al-Barouni by presenting these contributions and exploring the objectives he sought to accomplish through them. Al-Barouni established a distinguished presence in the field of scientific journeys, the founding of schools, the authorship of books, and the composition of poetry. He also sought to engage in journalistic activism and intellectual resistance through the written word.
The study concludes that Al-Barouni maintained a significant presence across numerous fields of knowledge and culture, leaving evident imprints and remarkable contributions. Through these efforts, he sought to serve the Islamic nation and contribute to its progress and advancement. The spirit of struggle was also clearly reflected in his writings, which he employed as a platform for criticizing the difficult circumstances endured by Muslims under colonial domination, particularly in Libya.
