Abstract

The remarkable properties of nanomaterials, including their diminutive size, large surface area, and malleability, have made them a potentially revolutionary resource in the fields of biomedicine and drug delivery systems. investigating the possibility of using nanoparticles to improve drug delivery, with an emphasis on increasing bioavailability, decreasing adverse effects, and directing the drug to certain tissues or cells. We investigate the efficacy of several nanoparticle, dendrimer, liposome, and nanocomposites systems as encapsulants and carriers of chemotherapeutic meds, proteins, and genetic materials, among other therapeutic agents. The article covers a wide range of topics related to medication delivery via nanoparticles, including potential toxicity, stability, and regulatory considerations. We also emphasize nanoparticles' contributions to individualized medicine by exploring their potential applications in diagnostics, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. We need more research to solve the remaining obstacles and refine nanomaterial-based drug delivery systems for clinical application. We also need to make sure they are safe to deploy in biomedicine.
